This is a recipe I’ve had in my back pocket for years and bring out when the occasion calls for something special. It is a baked cheesecake with a graham cracker and walnut crust.

The first time I had this was at a pot luck dinner where the hostess told me she made the best cheesecake. (I’ll be the judge of that, I said to myself.) She was gracious enough to share the recipe which is, in fact, from a decades old, now unpublished cookbook.
